Established in 1997, the Russian-Armenian University is a for-profit public higher education institution located in the metropolis of Yerevan (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia, Russian-Armenian University (RAU) is a small-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 2,000-2,999 students) coeducational Armenian higher education institution. Russian-Armenian University (RAU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor's degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor's degrees, master's degrees and doctorate degrees in several areas of study.
